Confirm valve tags, model and serial numbers, material heat references, nameplate information and the material documentation required by the purchase specification.
Inspection and testing
Specify the test standard and edition, acceptance criteria, test medium, pressure, duration, inspection points and witness requirements.
Documentation and release
Agree the drawings, inspection and test plan, reports, certificates, preservation, packing and release documents required for the order. Availability and scope are confirmed in the written offer.
Certification is scope-specific
A management-system certificate, a laboratory accreditation, a product licence and a type-test report prove different things. The required document must match the selected product, manufacturing site and service.
